Food Safety & Quality Assurance
At Cohn Farms and Cohn Produce, we are committed to producing safe and high-quality products. We achieve this by maintaining our Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan to identify, reduce and eliminate potential food safety hazards. Additionally, Cohn Farms and Cohn Produce have achieved SQF (Safe Quality Food) Level II Certification. We have a full time SQF Practitioner leading our Quality Assurance Team with responsibility to implement, monitor and update our SQF Program and ensure all employees are properly trained on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Our Quality Assurance Team ensures that our production area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation. Raw materials are properly handled and inspected upon arrival to ensure they do not become contaminated during delivery, storage, processing and distribution. We have an effective traceability and recall system that is efficient in identifying where our products are in the supply chain at all times.
